One of the largest online poker card rooms on a global scale – partypoker – revealed that the widely-popular Monster Series online festival is to kick off in April. As announced by partypoker, the series, which is known for its low to middle stakes available, is set to begin on April 29th and to run through May 6th.
This would be the second edition of the online festival. This year’s Monster Series promises to be an exciting one, with it being set to feature a total of 41 numbered events and 123 tournaments which offer various buy-ins in the range from $0.44 to $33. The combined guaranteed prize pools offered during the series would amount to $2.7 million.
In October 2017, partypoker hosted the first-ever Monster Series, offering specially-created low buy-in tournaments with generous guaranteed prizes in order to give more players the chance to win a “monster prize”.

The Main Event is to take place on May 6th, along with a Medium Monster and a Low Monster event, which feature a buy-in of $7,50 and $1,50, respectively. The Main Event of the online poker festival is to offer a guaranteed prize of $300,000.
In addition, for the first time three Ladies events are to take place over the current edition of the partypoker Monster Series, all of them offering the same buy-ins, but guarantees of $5,000, $2,000 and $500, respectively. The three Ladies events are set to be held at the same time over the final day of the series, May 6th.
